Ken Mate has performed his blend of Stand-up Comedy and Magic throughout the country for almost three decades. He has appeared with more than 70 stars as the guest opening act, including: the bands of Chicago and Alabama, REO Speedwagon, Ray Charles, Wynonna, Michael Bolton, Smokey Robinson, Chubby Checker, Reba, Randy Travis, Crystal Gayle, The Beach Boys, Weird Al Yankovic, and the Smothers Brothers.

Ken was featured on the television special “The World’s Greatest Magic” taped at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. His magic hands have appeared in commercials including those for McDonald’s, Chevrolet, First Bank and “The Incredible Edible Egg.” With more than 40 appearances on WGN TV’s Bozo Show and 14 years of Co-Hosting the United Cerebral Palsy Telethon, millions of people have watched him perform. Mate has given away millions of dollars too! As the touring host of the Illinois State Lottery for four years, he did over 1,000 performances at fairs and festivals.
